**URiM Students - A limited number of scholarships are available to students completing our acting internship in EM who identify as underrepresented in medicine (URiM). More information about this scholarship and its application form are available here. We also have a Healthcare Disparities in Emergency Medicine Externship, which is a separate clinical opportunity for students interested in a career in emergency medicine who have a passion for fighting healthcare disparities and social determinants of health. Students can also receive a SLOE from this rotation. There are more scholarships available for students completing the Healthcare Disparities in Emergency Medicine Externship than for those completing the Acting Internship.
