- Operational and Disaster Medicine fellows, Drs. John Roberts and Danny Thomas (along with several EM faculty members) spent several weeks in 2016 supporting primary medical care at a clinic in Northern Greece to help alleviate suffering and prevent further injury to Syrian and Iraqi refugees.

Accomplishments:
- Beginning in 2018, this one-year fellowship capitalizes on our Department’s long-standing relationship with Muhimbili National Hospital and the Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. The Fellowship is designed to empower the fellow to expand their global health knowledge and skills, lead emergency care capacity building projects in Tanzania, drive global EM research, and contribute to global health education here at CMC.
